and farm. If your installation is greater than 1000' and in an area with moderate-to-high deer
population, you should consider the Extra-strength, Maximum-strength, and Steel Hex grades due to the
elevated impact possibilities. Homeowners in residential neighborhoods usually protect their landscape and gardens with the Professional Tenax or Imported Heavy-duty grades.
Inexpensive deer netting sold in home-and-garden centers is really just
relabeled bird netting with a weak 1" x 1" square mesh. My polypropylene mesh consists of thicker
strands in a 2" x 2" (approximate) mesh. All four grades of my deer-proof Fencing materials are easier

Snow, ice and fallen tree branches can make the top of your fence sag, so Nylon Tension
Wire is necessary on most installations. Also, one of the most common ways for deer to
penetrate a fence is by slithering under it. To prevent this, install your Fencing with two-to-six
inches of the mesh draped on the ground (facing out) and secure with big rocks, homemade

Have rabbits, too? Protect your vegetable garden from rabbits and other chewing critters
with a layer of metal fencing at ground level. Select my black, PVC-coated Rodent Control

The 4' to 6' heights are ideal for a do-it-yourself dog enclosure. Consider Professional for small
dogs; Extra-strength for medium and/or active dogs; the Maximum-strength for medium-to-large dogs
and very active dogs; Steel Hex for large dogs and "crazy" dogs. Deluxe Posts and Gates are available
